Founding member Rob Uivel has been working as a model maker in the film industry since 1984. Our experience and artistic talents combined with our facility and skills mean we can tackle a wide range of 3D problems and generate a solution - We Make It. Human Dynamo Workshop supplied a large amount of props, set fixtures and detailing for the live action studio scenes for Avatar 2009 directed by James Cameron and filmed in Wellington.
Supervising art director Kim Sinclair won a Bafta and an Oscar for best art direction - creating the physical world of the film.

Contracting for Film and Movie art departments has always been a core
part of Human Dynamo's workshop and studio's business. Our industrial
artists are highly skilled in all production processes from props and
break-away props to miniatures, sets, costume, effects and special
requests.
The projects range from very large to very small and often unusual.
