The Water Horse - Marie Antoinette Break Away Props
A bust of Marie Antoinette had to smash in a scene in The Water Horse. It was modeled in clay by our sculptor Sue Dorrington from photo reference of the original. A mold created from the clay master. Then final plaster castings were taken from the molds and paint finished to give an aged marble look. Below a Cardinal Bust was also recreated in Human Dynamo's studio from photographs of the original in England. This is the piece in it's sculpted clay state before being molded and cast in plaster. It was when given a paint finish of pale marble.
