The Paparoa Exhibition at the Punangairi Visitor Centre invites visitors to explore the heart of Paparoa National Park, bringing natural history to life through immersive storytelling, material craft, and collaboration.
The exhibition combines design, fabrication, lighting, and technology to create a multi-sensory visitor experience that reflects the diverse ecosystems, iconic landmarks, and distinctive geology of the Punakaiki region.
Our role
Human Dynamo fabricated and installed immersive elements from large-scale environments to finely detailed models. Key components included:
Two large cave rooms with integrated special effects and props
Custom rock walls, cast in plaster to capture geological texture and scale
Life-size models and detailed displays that tell the stories of Paparoa’s unique natural environment.
