We operate in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and relevant regulations and codes of practice. We take a proactive, practical approach to identifying and managing risk, embedding health and safety into every stage of our projects.

Health and safety is a shared responsibility. Everyone working with or alongside Human Dynamo Workshop is expected to contribute to a safe and respectful workplace.

We ensure:

• Our team members are trained, informed, and supported to work safely

• Contractors and collaborators are inducted and coordinated effectively

• Clear communication and consultation around health and safety matters

• Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and used.

 

We expect all workers, contractors, and visitors to follow safety instructions and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Our workshop and studio environments involve machinery, tools, materials, and processes that require care and attention.

We maintain:

• Clearly defined work areas and access controls

• Safe operation of machinery and equipment

• Cleaning, disposal and storage systems to reduce risk

• Emergency procedures, including first aid and incident response.

 

Site-specific risks are assessed and managed for installation, transport, and off-site work.

We are committed to continuous improvement in health and safety practices through:

• Ongoing risk assessment and review

• Learning from incidents and near-misses

• Keeping up to date with best practice and regulatory guidance

• Encouraging open communication and reporting.

We work with project partners to ensure health and safety requirements are clearly understood and appropriately managed.​
