project content + public sharing policy.

Last updated 18 March 2026.

Human Dynamo Workshop showcases selected projects for marketing, capability building and industry positioning.

We recognise that different types of projects carry different sensitivities. This policy outlines how and when content may be shared, ensuring alignment with partner/client expectations, cultural protocols, and contractual obligations.

Content sharing is always discussed during the sales process and confirmed in writing via contract terms and conditions prior to project commencement.

1. Our approach

We follow a few simple principles:

  • Client-first: We don’t share private or confidential work without your agreement.

  • Cultural respect: Māori and culturally significant projects are guided by tikanga and client-led processes.

  • Right timing: We align with your launch, unveiling or announcement wherever needed.

  • No surprises: Content sharing is discussed early and confirmed before the project begins.

2. Film, TV and entertainment projects

We align with studio embargo timelines and only share once the work is publicly released. In practice, this means:

  • No sharing before official premiere or public release.

  • All content is aligned with studio/publicist embargo conditions.

  • We may share content after the premiere or public release. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

    • Studio/publicist approved stills of final movie/programme/commercial

    • Human Dynamo Workshop behind-the-scenes (BTS) content which shows work in development e.g. design, fabrication and installation.

    • A full project case study with key collaborators listed.

    • Submissions for awards directly related to our work on the project.

3. Māori and culturally significant projects

We honour tikanga and share work once it has been formally unveiled or blessed. We only share behind the scenes content and close up details (not full reveal) earlier if approved by you. In practice, this means:

  • No sharing before official unveiling/blessing/opening ceremony or before a date set by the client.

  • We may share content after unveiling/blessing/opening event (or date set by client) with appropriate narrative context and correct iwi/artist attribution. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

    • Images of the final work in-situ.

    • Behind the scenes content which shows work in development e.g. design, fabrication and installation.

    • A full project case study with key collaborators listed.

    • Media release, in consultation with the client.

    • Submissions for awards directly related to our work on the project.

4. Art installation projects (non Māori-commissioned work)

We find that sharing elements of the process helps build credibility and industry visibility for everyone involved. We’re careful not to share too much prematurely. Our goal is to amplify the impact of the work, not compete with your announcement. In practice, this means:

  • We may share content before and after the work has been installed and unveiled.

5. Commercial fit-outs, brand activations and retail projects

This includes, but isn’t limited to:

    • Images of the final work in-situ.

    • Behind the scenes content which shows work in development e.g. design, fabrication and installation.

    • A full project case study with key collaborators listed, on completion of the project.

    • Media release, in consultation with the client.
