AgResearch Soil Armour Diorama (2022)

This detailed 3D scale model was created for AgResearch and showcased at New Zealand’s national agricultural Fieldays event.

The model represents Soil Armour, AgResearch’s evidence-based alternative to wintering cows on forage crops. The system uses a pasture and hay bale grazing approach designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining productivity.

By translating complex agricultural research into a tangible, physical form, the model made the concept immediately visible and easy to grasp for farmers and industry professionals alike.
