Garage Project: Cabinet of Curiosities (2017)
Pop-up bars, kiosks and a Cabinet of Curiosities installation fabricated for Wellington craft brewery Garage Project's Beervana festival activation.
Human Dynamo Workshop has fabricated pop-up bars and event kiosks for Garage Project, the Wellington-based craft beer company known for adventurous flavours and strong visual identity. Garage Project's presence at Beervana — New Zealand's annual celebration of craft beer, held over two days at Sky Stadium in Wellington — needed to stand out among hundreds of breweries and stalls.
We designed and built modular bars and kiosks that could be assembled at the event, then broken down to fit on a standard pallet for easy transport and storage between activations. The Cabinet of Curiosities concept brought together brewery, retail and storytelling into a single immersive structure.
