I in Wellington Sign (2022)
Manufactured and installed the 2.2m tall, 8.9m wide WELL_NGTON interactive public sculpture on Wellington's waterfront, commissioned by WellingtonNZ as a photo-moment destination.
There may be no “I” in team — but our team of human dynamos quite literally became the “I” in WELL_NGTON while installing this striking interactive artwork on the Wellington waterfront.
Commissioned by WellingtonNZ to create a playful, shareable photo moment for the capital, the sign invites locals and visitors to step in and complete the city’s name themselves.
After assembling the components, waterproofing and priming the structure, we completed the installation on site, carried out final touch-ups, and wrapped the sign in iridescent vinyl, ready to shine in countless Insta-ready photos for years to come!
