Te Iho – Korowai Wall (2025)
A large-scale architectural artwork by Len Hetet (Waiwhenua Design) for Bowen House in Wellington, woven into the building's atrium. We worked with Warren and Mahoney and the artist to translate the design into a physical installation that honours Te Āti Awa, Taranaki Whānui whakapapa.
Collaborators:
Client: Government Property Office

Te Iho – Korowai Wall is a large-scale architectural artwork by Len Hetet, located within Te Iho (formerly Bowen House) in Wellington — a newly unified public service workspace designed to foster connection across government agencies.
Named and blessed in partnership with iwi, the building centres on ideas of whakapapa and collective purpose.
Human Dynamo Workshop worked closely with the artist to translate the korowai form into a contemporary built expression, carefully resolving scale, materiality and installation within the architectural atrium.
